::BIOGRAPHY
Born in Maryland and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, Jason C. Miller has
been performing in front of live audiences since he was five years old. Picked
out at an early age for his natural singing ability, Jason quickly became an
experienced and exceptional performer. Throughout his childhood and adolescence,
Jason participated in countess choirs, musicals and plays throughout Maryland,
D.C. and Virginia.
It wasn’t until his second year at George Mason University when he started
to achieve international attention. Pursued by Germany's Marlboro Music,
Jason and his band "Godhead" signed
a multi year recording contract with the company and toured Europe several
times. Later signing with New York's Sol 3 Records, and then ultimately with
Marilyn Manson's Posthuman Records, Jason has toured the United States and
Europe many times. Fronting Godhead, Jason has shared the stage with acts
such as Ozzy Osbourne, Disturbed, Rammstein, Slipknot, Static-X and Marilyn
Manson.
Jason is also an accomplished songwriter, co-writing with artists such as
Jeordie White (A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails), Ben Moody (Evanescence),
and Marilyn Manson. Jason also penned the all star collaboration "Forever
In Our Hearts," a song to benefit the victims of the 2004 tsunami in
South Asia which included Brian McKnight, Mya, Jacoby Shaddix, Josh Freese,
Nate Dogg and many more. Jason has had songs placed in many prominent
movie soundtracks including the gold selling “Queen of the Damned” with Godhead
and the gold selling “Punisher” soundtrack with Ben Moody.
In early 2004, Jason opened Central
Command Studios, a fully functional recording studio designed for both
music and voice acting. As a voice actor, Jason has appeared in over
30 different animated series including Hellsing, Dead Leaves, Ghost in
the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Texhnolyze, Wonder Woman and Avatar:
The Last Airbender. On camera, Jason has been featured in Comedy Central’s
“Danny Roane: First Time Director”, the Sci-Fi Channel’s “Curse of El
Charro”, the 2008 remake of “Day of the Dead” and the Sci-Fi Channel's
"Battle Planet".
Featured in magazines such as Rolling Stone, Billboard, Guitar World and
many more, Jason has also appeared on MTV, MTV2, Fuse and VH1. Touted
by many critics as one of rock's best and most consistent live singers, Jason
continues to wow live audiences all over the world. |
